Clankbot

Overview

The idea was simple: buy or sell a token by sending a Telegram message, without ever opening a DEX.

Clankbot is a Telegram trading bot for Base. You can manage a wallet, trade, trade together in a group, keep an eye on other people's wallets and get a ping when a new Clanker token launches, all with a few commands.

My Contributions

I built Clankbot on my own, end to end. Alchemy webhooks send the trade alerts and Neynar sends the token launch alerts. Wallets are handled with Ethers, the database runs on Prisma, the bot itself is a Next.js app, swaps go through Paraswap, and the AI features use Anthropic and GPT.

Trading: You can buy with a contract address or just paste a DexScreener or Clanker link, sell whatever percentage you want, and check a token's PnL, market cap and other stats.

Wallets

Create a wallet, check your balance, manage your tokens, withdraw and handle your private key safely, all from Telegram.

Wallet Tracking and Groups

Wallet tracking: Follow whale wallets under nicknames you choose and get a message every time they trade, in a group or in your DMs. It's an easy way to copy trade.

Groups and DMs: A group can share a wallet, trade together, track wallets and get launch alerts. Everything to do with your own wallet stays in your DMs.

Copy trading: Later I added automatic copy trading and a take-profit at 2x.

Plain-English trading: With the LLM layer you just type what you want to do instead of remembering commands.

Farcaster IDs: Next on the list was Farcaster ID support, so you could buy from or track someone by their Farcaster account.
